Having worked in Canada, Indonesia, Africa, Kazakhstan, and China, Noris has over 40 years of mining experience. His background covers the early stages of mining and operation, with experience in exploration, NI43-101 and JORC technical reports, resource and reserves statements, mine planning, and due diligence.
In mining operations, Noris has extensive experience with diamond drill management, project and study management, project execution, and operations management. He also brings deep understanding of mine geology, including rock mechanics studies, geotechnical slope analysis, and hydrogeology.
Driven by collaboration, Noris enjoys building multidisciplinary mining teams—throughout his career, he’s found it rewarding to bring together complementary skillsets. Noris also enjoys training and mentoring the next generation of mining professionals.
When he’s not at work, Noris enjoys listening to music on his vintage audio equipment that he has collected and rebuilt over the years.
